Welcome to St Anthony's Catholic Primary School & Nursery

Welcome to St. Anthony’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery website. We hope that you will find the information useful whether you are a parent, prospective parent, friend or someone just interested in schools.

At St. Anthony’s we believe that every child is a unique being, created in the image of God. We work as a community of love to ensure that every child achieves the very best that they can be. We promote a love of God and a love of one another and this is demonstrated in the way we work, learn grow and live together.

At St. Anthony’s we offer a rich and diverse curriculum that is suited to the needs of the children. We promote British values such as tolerance, fairness, respect for other faiths and for people with no faith, and the rules of law and democracy. Our pupils are actively involved in promoting the UNICEF Rights Respecting agenda in their daily school life and through community based tasks and activities. Our curriculum empowers the creative, develops the spiritual, inspires a love of learning and cultivates the skills of life in modern Britain and for careers which may not even exist as yet. We endeavour to work in partnership with the Diocese, other schools, specialist teachers and parents to offer the widest of opportunities to enhance the lives of all within our school.

We are part of a global society and ensure that our children are exposed to learning across the world by linking with a school in Sri-Lanka enhanced by maintaining a blog. We are a happy, thriving school where we value respect and commitment to service and where children and their needs are our prime concern.

St. Anthony please help us

In all that we do.

To work well with others

And care for them too.

To set us all free.

Please guide us St. Anthony
